We come from Germany and had no idea, what to do in the area of Nanyuki. Kashif from the rental station was very helpful and made various suggestions. At least we ordered a car with a driver for a day trip to Ol Pejeta, spent the night at sweetwater Serena (great!) and got another car with driver for the way back to Nairobi. Great experience renting a Landcrusier for visiting the National Parks. The company helped us readjust our booking at last moment due to flight cancellation. Pickup and delivery were arranged at the airport and went smoothly. Kashif who was our point of contact was really helpful and always available.
The hub Nanyuki offers car rentals at an affordable rate. Kashif was very helpful and gave us some good tips (for example getting MPesa on our phone) Our car broke down on the first day, but he reacted fast and efficiently and we got a replacement car that took us all over Kenya without a problem. The communication was excellent, Kashif responded fast to all our requests and questions. All in all a very good experience. Would definitely recommend for car rentals in Kenya.
James and Anthony were the best drivers we could have wished for! They didn’t only drive us safely around Kenya‘s off roads. They also helped us with everything else on our trip and gave us so much input about Kenya. They were funny and super super kind. They helped us carrying, asked about our well-being and so much more. We (2 adults and 2 teenagers) rented a 4x4 for a 6 day safari in Nakuru and Masai Mara. Even I have personally planned/organised family vacations in most continents of the world, a Kenya safari seemed extra challenging.
I appreciated the responsiveness of Kashif who offered a 4x4 elevation roof safari vehicle that we wanted as well as a driver assigned for the 6 days.
It was a relief to see the car in front of our hotel, with driver, exactly as agreed, on the morning of our safari trip start at our hotel close to the hotel we were spent the night after arriving in Nairobi.
I will here split my review in 2; regarding the car and regarding the driver.
Car: We received a Nissan Patrol Y61 - with a pop-up roof as ordered. The vehicle was truly as premium safari vehicle suit for purpose. That said, it was not the newest and the wear and tear was notisable. But "this is Africa" and on the bright side it was really very comfortable with soft seats, seatbelts and things in working order. It was luxurious for 4 people, acceptable for 5 people and possible for 6 people if a family/with kids.
There were a few things on the car that broke during our 6 days trip, but not really critical and since we had a very determined driver (see below). The only real complaint would be that the car did really not have tires for off-road mud/etc handling - but apart from 1-2 close calls, we did not get stuck (and we would not have been in big troubles in well-traveled areas as someone could have helped us) - but a set of decent mud/off-read tires would have made the car perfect.
Driver:
We met Mr Mwangi in Nairobi when he picked us up with the car. From there he spent the 6 days with us as our tireless driver, sleeping at the drivers quarters at the lodges we had booked. Mr Mwangi was always tremendously kind, friendly and absolutely intent that our vacation was to be a huge success. He had no objections to any requests or schedules we considered and he made great efforts in advising us in how to achieve what we wanted.
Mr. Mwangi was clearly the most important reason for a vacation our whole family will remember for the rest of our lives. When we responded to him that we really wanted to see all the animals, he made it his mission to make sure we saw all the animals. He liaised with local drivers for input, recommended routes and kept interacting with other drivers - and he pursued the paths towards seeing what we wanted without ever tiring. Even when the car was objecting somewhat to the toils it experienced, he pulled through and kept it going. So where I might have considered to give a 4 star recommendation on the car as it was not really new, Mr Mwangi was the one elevating the car from a 4* rating to a 5* rating.
We will as a family remember Mr Mwangi as a friend and hope to explore more of the Savanna with him.

Great rates, very accommodating to schedule changes and Kashif is always available for whatever you need, whether it's advice, a question, an additional service, or anything in between. They have a full repair shop and a 24 hours service line if you have any issues.
They also can do bicycle rentals, along with arrange drivers and anything else you may need. A full one stop shop.

The car was reliable, perfectly suited to the environment and our needs. One of the cheapest options in Kenya we found for 4x4 cars. We truly appreciated the incredible customer service, before, during and after the trip. We also value the online booking and the fast, personalized response. If we return, I have no doubt we would choose them again.
The rental service recommended us to rent a cabin suv 4wd. We were doubting if that was really necessary for our needs (a drive through Amboseli national park). However it turned out that it definitely was and at the end were really happy with the advice. This car is perfect for a drive through a rougher area. The employees were quick and reliable in responding and we got our deposit back after two days. If we ever need another car, we will definitely rent it here again!

At the end of our trip there were problems with the tend but Kashif offered us a few options to manage the situation which was very nice.

From the first email correspondence with Kashif, We started to build confidence that we would be getting straightforward, clear, and honest communication and prices. Answered every question, worked out a special arrangement for our flexible itinerary, and we ended up with a great vehicle for our 3 week circuit of Kenya. Had an issue along the way of a window malfunction and he was on it in helping us find a repair shop to take care of it and be back on the road quickly.
